I remember being nervous but excited about starting college. My parents were always supportive and encouraged me to pursue higher education, but I wasn't sure what to expect once I got there. I wondered if I would fit in. I wondered if I had picked the right major. And to be honest, I wasn't sure how I was going to navigate things on my own. However, I became heavily involved in campus activities as an undergraduate student, and I found some great mentors on campus. All of that led me to discover that I could pursue a career in student affairs! Sometimes, even the scariest of doors can lead to a lifelong adventure.
