UNC Charlotte students who identify as First-Gen also have the opportunity to join First Gen Niners, a student organization devoted to providing resources and support to First-Generation students.

Created by First-Gen students for First-Gen students this organization aims to ease the struggles First-Generation students may face. Through collaboration, discussion, and outreach, we hope to help students learn how to cope with different situations, expand approaches to scenarios, and reinforce a support system that will carry students to graduation!
